“Kingdom Over Personality”
It’s Not About You. You Already Have Jesus.
“He must become greater; I must become less.”
— John 3:30 (NIV)
What’s Your Brand…
We live in the age of personal brands.
Everybody’s got a logo, a hashtag, and a “vibe.”
Even church folk. Some of us are out here treating the gospel like it’s a marketing campaign—carefully curating what filter best captures our humility and what caption makes our sacrifice look spontaneous.
But here’s the truth that wrecks your ego and resurrects your purpose:
It’s not about you. It’s about the Kingdom.
You already have Jesus—you don’t need more spotlight, followers, or validation. What the world needs is Him.
You Already Have What They’re Looking For
Jesus didn’t die to make you famous.
He died to make you free.
And freedom looks like forgiveness for your past.
You’re not chained to what you did—you’re changed by what He did.
So stop trying to rebrand your mistakes and start revealing your Messiah.
“You can’t spell ‘influencer’ without ‘flu’—because too many people are contagious with self.”
When people see your peace in the middle of chaos, your joy in the middle of struggle, your mercy when others hold grudges—they’ll want to know the Jesus who set you free. That’s kingdom influence, not Instagram influence.
You’re Not the Point—You’re the Pointer
God didn’t save you just to give you a seat—He gave you a mission.
You have purpose in your present.
Your job?
Tell people about Jesus and start unwrapping what’s still binding them—
resentment, greed, addictions, gossip, comparison, bitterness, and pride.
You’ve been set free to help others get loose.
Lazarus didn’t come out of that grave to start a podcast. He came out to live—and he needed friends to unwrap him.
Preaching Quip:
If your version of Christianity never helps anyone else get free, it might just be self-help with Scripture references.
Our Hope Isn’t Just Someday—It’s Every Day
We don’t live for likes; we live for life eternal.
We have hope for our future—tomorrow, and forever.
The world says, “Live your truth.”
The Kingdom says, “Live His truth—and bring someone with you.”
You’re not chasing applause; you’re chasing alignment.
You’re not building a following; you’re building a forever family.
Heaven isn’t a members-only club—it’s an open invitation. But somebody’s gotta hand out the invite.
Cultural Reality Check:
We’re surrounded by a culture that screams, “Be yourself!” while quietly whispering, “As long as it’s marketable.”
But Jesus calls us to die to self.
In a selfie world, that’s the ultimate rebellion.
Stop building a personal brand. Start building eternal bridges.
Because one day, your followers won’t remember your reels—but they might remember your redemption story.
When we put Kingdom over personality, we stop performing and start transforming.
We stop saying, “Look at me,” and start saying, “Come see the Man.”
You already have Jesus—so live in such a way that everyone else wants what you’ve got.
